2020. My, oh my, what a year you have been!
I think we can all agree that the past ten months or so have been quite difficult for the majority of us in their own way. While there have been some silver linings amidst a crazy year, I am definitely looking forward to new beginnings in 2021.
I know New Year’s celebrations may look a tad bit different this year, but that doesn’t mean we still can’t celebrate at home! Of course, we can’t go out on the town like past years. But, I’m still planning to bring the party home. You still gotta make it fun and fancy, am I right?
So, what’s on tap for my New Year’s plans?
Aaron and I are planning on getting all dressed up. Just because we can’t go out doesn’t mean I can’t put on heels and some lipstick. We’re definitely going to order in from a local restaurant and watch the fireworks from the balcony. Plus, we’re making a super elegant cocktail punch – I’ve partnered with my friends at Chambord to bring you a twist on the signature Chambord Royale – to cheers to the New Year!
I personally love something on the sweeter side and wanted an extra special drink to celebrate at home. I didn’t want to do the classic champagne, needed a little extra uumph. You gotta live a little, right? The Chambord Royale looks so elegant and I loved the added fruit in it. Honestly, even the berries soaked in the cocktail are beyond delicious.
I’m sharing a Punch Royale & the recipe with you, because I know you’re going to love it. The Chambord liqueur is made with 100% natural ingredients and uses whole, fresh fruit in the production process. So you can have a little fun while sticking to your wellness priorities – you know I’m all about that. A little splash of liqueur ain’t gonna hurt ya! Trust me, this drink is fabulous and so perfect to bring in the new year.
Plus, you don’t even have to leave the house to get all of the ingredients for this. You can order for home delivery via Drizly and get $5 off your first order using promo code CHAMBORD.
Cheers to a healthy and happy upcoming 2021 – no matter what may be thrown at us this year, we can handle it!
Here’s the recipe:
Raspberries and/or blackberries
8 oz of chilled Chambord liqueur
8 oz of Cranberry juice
2 cold bottles of Korbel Brut California Champagne
Rosemary sprigs (my added touch!)
Instructions to make:
Fill your chilled pitcher with berries. I used raspberries and blackberries – but you can totally add whatever fruits float your boat! Pour the Chambord Liqueur over the berries. Then, slowly pour the cranberry juice and champagne in. Pour into your champagne glasses and top with the rosemary sprigs and some extra berries on top. Cheers!
PS – If you want to make it even more fancy and set the mood, light some tea candles and lay foliage on the table.
