As an Upper East Sider, I don’t have a Trader Joe’s close enough that I make trips there frequently. Now that I’ve been in Arizona during quarantine for quite some time, I’ve had the chance to shop around and find some of my favorite grocery items. Supposedly, Trader Joe’s will be opening one up on the Upper East Side underneath the Queensboro bridge, but that could take some time with everything happening in the world. However, when I’m back home in NYC, I’ll absolutely be making the extra trip downtown for these items below. I’m laying out the categories how they are grouped at the store so it makes it easier for you:
PRODUCE:
*I want to share that I typically do not buy fruit from Trader Joe’s. I’ve found their fruit to be past their peak and I like to get organic from Whole Foods. I know some may not like to take multiple trips but that’s what I personally have been doing.
