I say this all the time, but I’m so glad I wasn’t on social media during my weight loss journey. It can be sooo confusing with the overload of information being thrown at you. This is what I’d tell someone hoping to kickstart their journey to a healthier lifestyle:

1. Don’t get caught up in the particular “type” of workout. Find something you enjoy so that you are able to keep at it. A combination of strength training and cardio is important. 
2. There is no specific diet that will “transform ” you. (Keto, paleo, gluten free, dairy free) The one thing I’d say to focus on is upping your protein intake. 
3. You don’t need fancy workout clothes or boutique studio classes to get in a good workout. You can workout in your backyard or living room with your own body weight. 
4. Patience!!! If anyone tells you to sign up for their two week program to transform your body… run the other way. They’re lying and trying to sell you something. It may take a bit of time, but consistency is the name of the game.

Resistance band on ankles:
Squat tap outs
Jumping jacks with band
High plank opposite reach twist
2 squat umps to lat pull down
Bicycle crunches 

50 seconds on, 10 off. Repeat x3
